About Our Board
The Board of Directors consists of local community leaders who have expertise in a wide variety of fields such as training, advocacy, education, law enforcement, finance, public relations, marketing, fund development, and business management. They meet once every two months to look after both the strategic and financial well-being of End Violent Encounters.
The term of office for the President and Vice President is two years, while it is three years for other members.
Would you like to serve with a team of dedicated volunteers in the Lansing area working to end domestic and sexual violence, one life at a time?
We are a 501(c)3 organization providing supportive services like advocacy, medical advocacy, counseling, crisis intervention, children's programs, and education to survivors of domestic, sexual, stalking, and elder abuse. We are looking for individuals to join our board who possess strong integrity, a firm commitment, and a dedication to carrying out our mission to the community.
